Selling his first piece in 1962 at age 8, Patrick OHanlon began his artistic journey and educational pursuits, which continue to this day. The first PahloArt Refinery & Gallery opened in 1978 in Hutchinson, Kansas, where he was still in college. The most extensive gallery to date was housed in the Old Fitzgibbon Hospital, which he and his wife purchased just east of Kansas City. This facility contained 14 galleries housing 17 artists, covering 10,000 square feet, plus an additional entry display. Kazoos! Children’s Interactive Art Museum followed shortly after, with 5000 sq. ft. of interactive art stations. Currently, he resides in Faber, VA, creating a new art space and continuing his artistic journey.
